stop hating your body

These images are part of my submitted post to the Tumblr Stop Hating Your Body, whose purpose is to spread the notion that: No matter what you look like, what color, what gender, what size or however many “flaws", healthy, not healthy, working on it, we are all human, we all deserve to be happy, we all deserve to love ourselves.

Let's hope I don't regret this! My only typo: I was 21, not 22, at the time of the incident.

  5. Your story really moved me; I truly admire your strength, courage and determination. :)

I want to link it to my boyfriend, who's in a bad mood these days because of an injury... He's already got one "bad", not totally functional knee, and now needs surgery on the second, which makes him say things like: I hate my knees! And I'd say: But they're all you have, so you must love them and take good care of them...

[I've been following you for a while, but this is my first comment on this blog!]

  7. That was such a moving post. Really. What an amazing journey, I applaud you SO much for how far you have come and by yourself. I've been following your blog for most of the year now because a friend of yours (Kayla) mentioned it to me while I was not paying attention in class and food blogging instead. As a feminist blogger who dabbled in food blogging I appreciate so much your approach, and have come to love what you write about. Please keep writing, your story is so important.

  12. Hi Jenny,
I was wondering if I might be able to include your brilliant account in the printed issue #1 of my mental health zine, mindovermatter.tumblr.com?
It would be so amazing to have you involved.
    You're a total inspiration.
